NEVER MEANT TO BE.

kills me day by day,

Every moment I set my eyes on you,
Have died many times,
And I can’t resurrect yet.

Experience was my best teacher,
The hardest lesson taught,
I wished I listened,
To the message of the cross,
It couldn’t be this way,
If wishes were horses…

My treasure you took,
My pride you stole,
I’m wasted,
Your mission accomplished,
Hatered is what I have for you.

I gave you my heart,
My love was pure,
Your plans impure,
From your figures I slipped,
Terribly I fell.

My heart aches,
But you say,
Christ arrested you,
You have to break bridges,
To maintain sexual purity,
Why should you.

You promised marriage,
Made my hopes high,
I was your beautiful butterfly,
In your palms I patch,
You are slowly killing me,
Squeezing me with your figures,
Please let me in,
Let it be,
But you say,
It wasn’t meant to be,
For your found your way,
Lost sheep you were,
Now you got a care,
A shade to rest,
But here I cry,
No rest, for a paining heart,
For it wasn’t meant to be.
